Life 70 Days After My Whole30

Tuesday, April 12, 2016. Whole30 plus 70 days of Clean Eating.  Mostly.

Let’s see what today brings…

4:15 AM.  Awake 2 minutes before the alarm.  2 cups of black coffee.

5:45 AM.  Breakfast.  Sweet potato (white and yellow) ground beef hash mixed in with the veggie mix (summer squash, butternut squash, zucchini, red and green bell peppers, and mushrooms) and all of that scrambled with a half cup of egg whites.  And a half teaspoon of bee pollen.  Sound familiar?

I grabbed a big mug of green tea for the driving around this morning.

11:00 AM.  I’m starting with my carrots and celery.  Then I’m moving on to a nice green salad with a grilled chicken breast on top.  Lovely.

6:00 PM.  Dinner.  The best zoodle sketti ever.

Fully Compliant

I’ve talked about this before – get yourself a rapid peeler zoodler thing – We have a Dash Go Rapid Peeler – throw on a zucchini and let the thing do its thing.  Make your favorite compliant sauce to go with it.  My favorite is a tomato meat sauce.  You know, your run of the mill standard spaghetti sauce.  So as far as “Zoodles” go, that would be zucchini+noodles=zoodles.  So it’s fun to say, I guess.  I suppose you could use any squash-like vegetable to make your noodles.  Maybe an experiment is in order.

9:30 PM.  Targeted bed time.

And so goes Step Four: Life After Your Whole30.  Today was a good day.
